Spirit Airlines is the United States low-cost carrier airlines with its headquartering Miramar, Florida. The airline was first founded in 1983 by Ned Homfeld as Charter One, which converted to Spirit Airlines in 1992 along with new scheduled flights between Detroit and Atlantic City. It is the eighth largest commercial airline of North America. The operation base of the airline comprises these sevens: Atlantic City, Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago–O’Hare, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Ontario, and Las Vegas. With the fleet size of 122, the airline serves in 67 destinations.

In November 2017, Spirit Airlines was ranked second in the country for its on-time performance, preceded by Delta Airlines. As of February 2018, Spirit was listed among the top 10 safest airlines in the world, the only airline in North America that makes to the list.

Spirit made the announcement in May 2018, to be the first ultra-low-cost carrier to equip their aircraft with high-speed Wi-Fi access. It is expected to start in fall, 2018 and also that all the aircraft of Spirit will be equipped with Wi-Fi by summer, 2019.

$9 Fare Club

The $9 Fare club offers discounted airfares, deals on vacation packages, and 50% off on luggage. Spirit Airlines provide the lowest airfares to all the listed destinations. On average, the airfare of Spirit is 30% less than its competition in the market. The ticket prices of flights are cheaper on Thursdays, somewhere about 6% less than the average price. Passengers could easily save up to $20 on their bookings.
